Shared Hosting
Our shared hosting accounts are hosted on VPS's on our own nodes. As such, shared hosting clients can enjoy many of the benefits associated with our VPS line, including paramount security and reliability.
The first core component is hardware
Each of our VPS Servers are hosting on quality server hardware, Dual or Quad Core servers, with a minimum 4GB RAM and RAID1 or RAID10 mirrored storage. What does this mean to you? Simple, our servers are hosted in true server class hardware, with robust CPU performance, ample amounts of RAM and redundant removable drives easily replaced should one ever fail.
The second component is our support staff
Highly trained Linux and Unix administrators staff our support desk around the clock. We monitor each and every server to ensure any downtime is dealt with as quickly as possible. Our friendly and helpful staff are here to perform software and hardware fixes as necessary, help you with your support needs immediately, and most of all, just being there to ensure that all goes well so that you can sleep calmly through the night.
The third component is our network
To ensure the lowest latency, greatest packet delivery and fastest speeds, we offer the choice of 2 Tier-1 facilities. Bluesqaure in the UK utilises bandwidth from EuroConnex, TeliaSonnera, RapidSwitch, NetrinoUK, Connexions4London, UKServers and Nitrex. Colo4Dallas uses solely Internap bandwidth, optimising each and every route through AT&T, MCI/UUnet/Verizon Business, Sprint, Level 3, NTT/Verio, Savvis and Global Crossing. Internap is generally regarded as the best bandwidth money can buy.
